No one is entitled to your private life — fake name or otherwise

Pen Names Are More Than Just A Name

Recently, I have begun pondering the ethics of sexual entitlement. It’s a creative venture that has taken me to an unusual place in my writing life. It has also forced me to begin asking myself a simple question that's increasingly sounding like a Batman riddle.

“What is in a name?”

As I continue to throw myself down the rabbit hole of sex blogging, I can’t help but notice a strange trend — many sex writers don’t use their real names. More often than not, they are frequently women and often masquerade under stylish profile pictures. These are people that live enchanting double lives on the internet. On one hand, they’re vulnerable, and often exciting tales of sexual exploration capture your attention by gripping with sheer brutal honesty on a taboo subject. You feel enthralled and compelled to keep reading because of the taboo nature of sex, especially in the world of women. While there is a weird disconnect in my self-awareness of their pen name, that doesn’t discount the fact that the education and stories they write are often fascinating and enlightening. …

Hey, what’s up, everyone! Welcome to my Medium page!

It’s here you will find my personal writing and my love for the spoken word. I’m a generalist style writer which means I don’t have a specific topic niche. I write about the things that I’m passionate about.

However, in general, I focus mainly on social issues, but I have been venturing into finance, sexual empowerment, and gaming recently.

Don’t worry if that seems overwhelming. I’m here to have a good time through wordplay. Follow along and enjoy the ride with me!

Besides my writing, you will also find information on who I am, personally, outside the world of content writing. …

America has lost its unity — and it may never come back

On the eve of election day, my social media is in chaos. Everyone is lining up and casting their vote for who should control the most powerful office in modern society. Everyone is drawing the line in the sand and attacking each other with hot fire due to political differences. There is no more listening and empathizing with each other.

Everyone is desperate to feel right in their choices…and ignoring the reality of everybody else. People have become so desperate to have their opinions become absolute facts, at the cost of the people around them.

This election cycle has fueled the greatest division of modern America thus far and it’s certainly going to get worst. This year has already gone to shit due to the onslaught of the pandemic. The health crisis it has created was already an extremely divisive issue for everyday people. However, as time goes by, it has become increasingly clear that’s there is an even greater pandemic at work here. …

Death threats, misogyny, and entitlement towards those that don’t deserve it

As a man among men, I get the privilege to navigate my day without much trouble. I can wear whatever I want, do whatever I want, and be the man I want to be as long as it’s not illegal.

(Ignoring the fact that I’m black. That’s a topic for another day).

If I want to take off my shirt and reveal my body to the world, you won’t hear much of a fuss. In fact, I’ll either receive praise, some hilarious commentary, or maybe even a meme or two if I’m lucky. …

“The worst guilt is to accept an unearned guilt.”

Russian-American Writer/ Philosopher, Ayn Rand

A while back, I wrote about the sexual assault of the first woman I ever cared for. That singular moment left me with a lot of rage and confusion that I had been forced to live with. While I may be smiling in the present, that pain is never quite gone.

It wasn’t the easiest article to write. In fact, writing it was so difficult, I was secretly hoping nobody read it. …

Sex is more than just pleasure — it’s an escape from reality

“Variety is the spice of life. That gives it all its flavor.”

William Cowper’s poem, “The Task”

With so much instability affecting the world right now, it seems we’re surrounded by negativity on all sides. The pandemic is still raging around the world, politics is corrupting everyday life, and most of us have already broke our new year resolutions.

Hell, we’re not even through the first month yet. In that time, our own president has incited a riot while thousands of people are still dying from an ongoing pandemic.

2021 is off to a great start already.

Thankfully, sex writing has become an excellent world of escape from the woes of today. With so much chaos pouring into our daily routines, it can feel hard to catch a break. However, there is something about writing on sexual topics that feels like a breath of fresh air from the usual tedium of writing. It’s more than just indulging fantasies — it has become a portal into a more positive mind-space. A mental realm where pleasure and liberation is the ultimate goal and a vehicle of much needed escapism from what ails us. …

Understanding the positivity of non-binary lifestyles

Years ago, when I was younger and dumber, I got my first real taste of non-binary sexuality. I was in my early 20s and, like many men around that age, I wasn’t ready for the conversation that was about to unfold.

My then-girlfriend opened up to me about a personal subject that had been on her mind for some time. In typical guy fashion, I told her to talk about it. As her boyfriend, I wanted her to feel comfortable opening up to me. That’s what good boyfriends do, right?

So she did.

The difficult struggle of achieving your vision in silence

This pandemic has exasperated this sense of loneliness in a new way. For myself, I’m a government worker. Due to the pandemic, I worked fewer hours, but my salary pay provided me with a consistent paycheck with great benefits shielding me from financial hazards. This allowed me to deep-dive into my pursuits of passions and various side hustles that I normally wouldn’t be able to. Generally, I specialize in online writing and blogging, but the new free time has allowed me to venture into other projects such as YouTube video editing and editing for other writers.

It’s also brutally lonely.

However, along the way, it’s hard to ignore the creative burnout. Not because of Gary-Vee Style Hustle Culture overwork, but because it’s so damn lonely. Side hustles are not a job, but labors of passion. This means the potential rewards are exponential, but so is the required output to get there. …

Reflecting on my many awkward sexual moments — and the lessons learned from them

“Stop trying so hard to be someone you’re not.”

American Actress, Issa Rae

For the vast majority of people, we tend to let external events define us. Whether it’s our past, our careers, or the people in our lives, we often struggle to define ourselves and master our own confidence.

Well, I was no different.

While I have grown much in 27 years of living, I have had plenty of socially awkward mishaps. Especially in the realm of sex — it’s been one, big socially awkward learning experience. Despite what TV would have you believe, sexual moments are rarely sexy. …
